2015 year reflection

2015 this year was the coolest it was so much fun this year i got to experience all the great things like rainbows end  Manaiakalani and many more  great things  at school. My favourite
subject  was reading this year and
one of my favourite highlight for this year was rugby at school. i liked playing with my friends. all
the teachers at school were amazing the whole year. but sometimes I'll  get  in trouble like detention and re think. There were hard times throughout the year.   I want the teacher to know that I'm sensible and trustworthy.
I look forward for the holidays  my goals for next year is being a prefect to be confident
to get better at  reading. and to be a better role model for the little kids at school.

The missing cross

On Monday the first of November we had a
barbecue at the beach for a picnic with me my mum
my brothers and sisters. Then I looked at my mum then I saw this shiny golden thing hanging around her neck.

As I went up closer it was
a golden cross that shined in the sun. It was given to her from her great grandmother who died in the 1990s. It was a very special gift to her
she knew that I wanted it so bad so she gave it to me
and she told me not to lose it. It's very   important she said that it's a lucky charm. So I put  it on. and it looked pretty cool.

When I went
swimming I put my necklace on the bench.  I was
having so much fun. Then my mum called us all in to eat. I went and got changed and when I went to get my necklace on the bench. It was gone i was worried. So I quickly looked under the bench there was nothing there then I realized it was stolen so I ran and told my mum that I hid my    necklace away so no one can find out and steal it . She doesn't know and yes I lied and I still haven't found the person who stole my necklace.

To be continued

All about metal detectors

I learned how metal detectors work.
back then people use metal detectors to find metal, coins, metal devices and
all sorts of things. in the olden days metal detectors were big they were heavy
and they were not working properly. The reason why soldiers use metal detectors
just to find bombs under the ground that people who  lives around the area is
very dangerous for them. Here is a presentation that i learned from it.

As a man thinks in his heart so he will be

A man is in a race  and he thinks hes going to  lose but in his heart he believes that he can win the
race.

A man is in a rugby game and they are losing but he  believes in his heart his team can win.

You can believe but you need to put some action into  it

communication technology WW1

Image result for world war 1 phones
Telephones and the Telegraph were the most used form of Telecommunication, both by civilians and by the military, when world war 1 was declared. Both were refined and made more secure during the conflict, while radio communication took great leaps forward.Ultimately, technologies developed for use on the front would lead to the creation of broadcast radio in the 1990s.

The  communication machine technology  was used to contact their air forces to. To
help them. And also used to call for backup. for some more troops.

When the First World War began the British war office seemed little initial attention to developed in the prosecution of hostilities.
Here is some pictures of some more phones from world war 1

ww1 Anzac writing lest we forget

In the 1914  over 103 000 young New Zealanders  served  overseas mostly as soldiers went to     war. Just around 10 percent of  soldiers  were leaving NZ to battle the Germans and
trying to stop them from Attacking our land. Some soldiers though that it was an adventure but it turns out  that it is  real.

By killing others and battling other countries.   Families were worried.  There was shooting, killing, stabbing, and burning. We were defending our country For victory the world war 1 continued for 4 years and some of our Anzac soldiers  died for us they mostly  died for our country. And that was  18.000 soldiers that died.We felt sad my eyes were a little bit terry. It was very heart breaking for their families. Imagine there wives with no husband and their children with no dad. It was so emotional. We had to look at our own memorial that the soldiers.

Past away  we had to stay there for a minute of  silence. as I was looking at the memorial I was full of sorrow  I was thinking about the crosses it was peaceful. There were heaps of thoughts  coming to my mind. I said to myself maybe it's time to have a rest now  it must of been painful for them to leave there family's and friends. To fight and go to war.
: lest we forget

Simon Holiday recount

One morning when I woke up I was very exhausted because I had a bad sleep. I was very tired. When I wandered outside I went on my bike. When I was riding on the foot path I was going pretty slow then all of the sudden “Boom’’ I realised that I got hit by a car.  I couldn't believed that I was  smashed by a machine. I went right under the car. I was right there lying under the car. I was dizzy and scared.
But I was worried - Am I going to die? But luckily I was saved by my
big brother in the family. I was glad that I got saved I almost gave up my life.
