whats a food chain

a food chain is what eats living things in an ecostem. it starts with a producer like grass or plankton . producers are eaten by consumers. if it was a consumer it would be an orca whale or a penguin. a penguin eats a fish and a leopard seal would eat a penguin . then an orca whale eats a leopard seal

something very scary

Sammy told Mrs Ngatai that there was something scary hiding under

room 10 . Mrs Ngatai grabbed some ham and her fishing net and put it by the room and waited.The caretaker put a cardboard box with a plate of sardines outside the class. He waited and waited. Mrs Jones was the librarian and she had an idea. She put a saucer of milk and quietly waited. But still nothing happened. Then the children put crinkly sparkly paper on a string and dangled it by the classroom. Finally the cat and her kittens came out.

Emperor penguins

One day there was a boy penguin and one girl penguin. The penguin's name were Gwin and Pen. Pen bowed and Gwin bowed back.  Pen was Gwin's girlfriend. One day they had an egg. Pen had to go to sea to get some food and came just in time when the egg hatched.

 

Antarctica

In Antarctica, it is the coldest place on earth. Scientists live on antarctica

because of global  warming and to see how cold it is.

There are animals that live in the sea like humpback  whales and seals.

Antarctica is bigger than New Zealand and Australia  

Whales

In Antarctica live whales. They are big and large. females are smaller and males are bigger. Humpback whales eat seals and sometimes penguins. some people say that at the bottom of the sea it is so warm but at the top of the sea in Antarctica it is cold.

 

My Holidays

Hi my name is simon. in the holidays me and my mum went to my aunties  I played some games on the ps3 and played outside and it was so “fun” after that I watch real steel and for dinner it was chicken nibbles and we slept over. the next day we went to Glen Innes  to buy some food and went back to my aunties then I played rugby and some games like real steel and ate coco pops. the last day we went to the pools we ate some food. I went in the pool it was so cold that i was cold to death i came Out of the cold pool and ate some more food.

On Thursday after morning tea we had a assemble and we had a special guests it was william he was on Tv. he gave as a 100, 000.00$ gift . and he told us about his life

Rugby League

On Tuesday my Class went outside to do some Rugby league skills on the netball court. The first thing that we had to do was warm up, we played a game called Benji says to do this. Then we had to pass the ball to other people in our group if you pass it to the others in your group ten times then the other team had to do ten pushups. After that we had to play back pass we had to get in our groups, we had to pass the ball backwards along the line until the last person got it and they scored a try. We were in 2 groups and whoever got the most points and we won. after that we had to play two on one. one group is defending and one group is getting a try after that we had to swap sides and play again and again.
