CHILD LABOUR

Children between the ages 5-15 who are working long hours and it effects their futures
and bodies negatively some kids around the world work in harmful jobs which include hazardous conditions, the kids cant go to school to learn because they are very busy working long hours to earn money for their families. in India some children make fireworks its very dangerous for them, in India theirs up to 60 million kids working for themselves to survive 11.28 million kids in 1991 child labour has increased over the past years.

The effects of child labour is critical the lack of education an unhealthy working environment,weak bodies and diseases, unsafe homes, poor families and  children working 24/7 they are usually struggling for their parents and younger siblings that have no food and cant pay rent for their homes some people don't even have homes so they stay in alleys or under bridges.

reason why their are millions of children doing child labour because kids were forced to work because mostly the parents cant work anymore / don't get paid enough so the children have to work as well just to provide enough for everyone and put food on the kitchen table.

i think child labour made a huge impact in the world because most people see it as being against the human rights which is breaking the laws. it is a huge problem in this world because young lives are suffering and trying to survive.

The amazon rainforest is a geographical significant place because of its purpose to the world. It holds up to 50% of the global biodiversity of the world. It contains over 2.5 million species of insects over 5500 different animal species. It is seven million square kilometres in size and it covers 6% of the earth's land surface.

Another reason why it is geographically important is that it is described as the lungs of the earth the reason being is that the rain forest has millions of trees which releases heaps of oxygen in to the atmosphere.

The funny and bad side of science

Once there lived 2 boys Siaosi and Alfa  who were interested in science so they did some research about science experiments on a monday evening. The time was flying by then they found a amazing experiment that captured their eyes they were amazed by its performance so they tried to do it by attending a science class.

But the thing is they didn't know a clue how to make it happen. They watched the clip over and over again so they knew what to do. Then  the boys went to the mall to buy the items and ingredients to begin the experiment.

The next day alfa and Siaosi  got ready for school and went straight to the science lab with excitement in their heads. The ingredients and items that were included was a long neck lighter and a pumpkin they followed the video clip on youtube step by step Siaosi carved the pumpkin stalk out and put it out to the side for the lid. And Alfa drilled with his mighty hands a small hole for the gas using the lighter. But sadly the internet cut off so the video turn off and the boys didn't know what to do but Siaosi felt confident and thought he was the man so he continued with the experiment. He closed the lid and inserted the  long neck lighter and let the gas flow in with the pumpkin he lit the lighter and nothing happen so he waited and waited  but soon he had no patience so he

Took the lid off……. and BOOM the flame came bursting out of the pumpkin and Sialosi's hair and eyebrows caught in flames he quickly grabbed a bucket of water and dipped his head into the bucket  and realised his eyebrows and hair was completely gone while Siaosi was in pain Alfa started to laugh his head off and the prom was tomorrow but he still went he wasn't the man he was the man with NO eyebrows and hair.

On Wednesday our teacher gave us a Story about Matter i Remember in the story there are 3 different states
Solid,liquid,gas the task for us was to find good information from the text and add it on to a padlet. If you didn't know any solid object  has heaps of particles the particles are tightly stuck together and it would not move at all and thats why when you drop a rock on the floor its hard to break. when ice is melted the tightly packed particles will loosen up and the particles would move around alot its like slippery balls in a basket moving. Then the ice will turn into water which is liquid. WATER when water is poured into a hot pot
after a few minutes the water will be boiling and the particles will be moving fast as cause of the heat when the particles bumb into each other it cause it to move fast and it would turn into GAS.

Hiwi the Kiwi

Yesterday we had two wonderful guest from hiwi the kiwi. They taught  us a lot of things like fun music about kai moana  how to keep safe when your out fishing  how to measure a fish. if it was very small or very big you are not allowed to keep it It has to be 30 centimeters. and they taught us if you touch a fish with your fingers and put back in the sea it will get sick and probably die the fish has a coating  just like sun cream if you touch It with your fingers  the slimy coating will come  off and thats not good its best to pick it up with a wet towel they also taught us if you catch a salt water fish you must put it in a bucket of ice mixed with salt  if you do not and put it in fresh water the fish will quickly go off and start to rott you dont want that for dinner do you. We learnt many things and great songs and also won prizes.

Narritive Rugby sevens RIO

‘‘Hi everyone my  name is Sonny bill Williams. I am a really great athlete in rugby’’   I am apart of an Amazing team called the all blacks.  we are competing in the Rio Olympics this year. Hopefully we win the Gold medal. We are vs the Fijian team in the finals We have went  through really tough challenges through the week .

‘‘If we get a successful victory in the finals we will receive a gold medal in Rio Olympics’’ BUT the Fijian team has a very skilled player in there team called

Habana Kepu saafi the scoreboard is All Blacks: 11

Fiji : 11 Habana was the one who was outstanding and scored most of the tries While they we were playing.  

Habana  scored Two more tries  to take the lead.

21 points WOW the coaches on the sideline were amazed of his tremendous performance during the game.  As the minutes went by my team  started to push forward to take the lead. The scoreboard was Fiji: 21 All blacks: 19 during the game.  Habana got injured ‘‘YES finally’’ he's out.

 I could feel the adrenalin flowing through my legs and i could hear my heart going boom, boom ,boom  I could feel the pressure on me It's game time. We started to increase our sportsmanship and start to gain on Fiji . We managed to get a conversion in 21-21 after 1 minute the ref called a scrum   it was Fiji’s ball so we contest for the ball the grass was slippery sloppy and muddy and we still battled during the scrum.

Then  I quickly grabbed the ball, out i went dashing through the wind  I can see many people charging towards me. It was the last 10 seconds in the game. I was nervous if I was gonna get the try or not

But I carried on running to the try line 6,5,4,3,2,1,

I dived with the ball tightly wrapped around my arms

And scored a victory try. The crowd went wild  screaming  and shouting with plenty of joy.  I couldn't believe we won a gold medal.
